Lower Bucks County police officers joined dozens of their peers Monday night in the Doylestown area as the manhunt for a veteran accused of killing six people in Montgomery County kicked into high gear.
Police sources told LevittownNow.com shortly after 8 p.m. that Bradley Stone, 35, of Pennsburg, Montgomery County, was believed to be involved in an attempted carjacking in Doylestown a short time earlier. The subject was then reported to have disappeared in the nighttime darkness.

Bucks County dispatchers requested additional police from around the county and the Pennsylvania State Police. A helicopter from the Philadelphia Police Department was also requested to the area to assist with the search.
As of 9:30 p.m., police from multiple townships were investigating a slew of tip calls from the Doylestown area.
Stone is accused of shooting to death six people and seriously wounding another person. The shootings happened three different addresses in Montgomery County early Monday morning.

Shortly after the shootings were discovered, police swarmed throughout Montgomery County and began searching for the suspect.
Stone reportedly engaged in the shooting spree over domestic issues, Philly.com reported.

The Montgomery County District Attorney said Stone should be “considered armed and dangerous.”
