Police Seek Witnesses To Serious Lincoln Highway Crash

Middletown Township police are looking for witnesses to a serious crash on East Lincoln Highway.

The crash, which LevittownNow.com first reported on Wednesday night, happened at 8:35 p.m. on East Lincoln Highway at entrance to the Oxford Valley Mall.

Police said an investigation found a blue VW Jetta rear-ended a silver Toyota Camry in the westbound travel lanes. The Camry was then pushed into the eastbound lanes and struck a green Mercury Village. The driver of the Camry, a Langhorne resident, suffered serious injuries in the crash, police said.

The crash shut down the section of Lincoln Highway between Oxford Valley Road and Woodbourne Road for several hours.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact Officer Mark McLeod at 215-750-3845 ext. 460.
