According to Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority Director Vijay Rajput, power was lost at pumping locations and a backup generator had some “glitches” that caused water service issues.

Within an houror so, full service to customers in Levittown was restored, Rajput said.
The water is reported to be safe to drink.

It’s not a good morning to take a shower in Levittown.

Reports of low pressure and water service disruptions were reported throughout the Levittown area Tuesday morning.
Along with the water issues, scattered power outages were also being reported in Bristol Township and Tullytown.
Due to the water issues, Conwell Egan Catholic High School in Bristol Township closed for the day, according to a post on its website.

Authorities from the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority were not immediately available for comment, but several customers who spoke with staff were told the water system issue is being fixed.
Minor street flooding was reported on Route 13 and several neighborhood throughout the area.
