PHOTOS: Chilly Rain Soaks Area


The nor’easter that moved through the area Tuesday was to blame for some minor street flooding in parts of the area and caused the Neshaminy Creek to swell.

Due to the storm, the National Weather Service issued a flood watch for the area.

Here’s the forecast from the National Weather Service:

  • Tuesday Night: Rain, mainly before 11pm. Low around 35. Northwest wind 14 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
  • Wednesday: Rain and snow likely, mainly before 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Northwest wind around 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  • Wednesday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before 7pm, then a chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 30. West wind 10 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
