A man who police say is a Latin Kings gang member waived all charges to Doylestown Tuesday as he works with the district attorney’s office to make a deal.

Gilbert Feneque Jr., 23, of New Brunswick, New Jersey, waived several felony and misdemeanor drug charges along with felony possession of a prohibited firearm onto trial before District Judge Jan Vislosky. He was represented by attorney Michael Applebaum.

Feneque is currently working on a plea deal with the district attorney’s office, Assistant District Attorney Dan Sweeny told LevittownNow.com. He said it was too early to release the specifics of the deal.
Feneque was arrested in March during a multi-agency raid at Rock Springs apartment complex on West Trenton Avenue in Falls Township. The raid led to the capture New Jersey murder suspect Jonathan Rodriguez, 21, of New Brunswick, N.J.

Feneque was arrested in the raid that captured murder suspect Rodriguez and Terrance Young, 24, Dunellen, New Jersey, who was found guilty of several charges similar to Feneque’s in summer.

According to court papers, Feneque lived in the apartment rented by a family member. He told investigators he “actively buys heroin in bulk to resell same for a profit, which he speculated was approximately $2,000 a week as he identified himself as an active heroin dealer.”
“This morning, when he realized law enforcement were about to enter inside his apartment he took the two guns, recovered from inside the kitchen garbage can, as well as the eight hundred-forty eight packaged heroin baggies, recovered from the kitchen garbage can, and threw them inside the can with the hope that police wouldn’t discover them,” Falls Detective Sgt. Chris Clark wrote in court papers.

Feneque is a convicted felon in New Jersey and was not permitted to have firearms. He also had a warrant out of New Jersey at the time of his arrest.
Police said at the time they found “large” amounts of drugs, including more than 1,000 wax paper baggies packaged for sale and heroin, inside the apartment. A large amount of cash and other drug-related items were found in the apartment, court papers say.
Feneque remains in Bucks County prison unable to post bail.
