Man Pleads Guilty To Making Up Incidents

A Falls Township man was sentenced to probation on charges he filed false reports with police.

Tyler Davenport, 21, recently pleaded guilty to charges including false reports and criminal mischief. He was sentenced to six months of probation by Judge Clyde Waite.

Police said that Davenport filed false reports that someone flattened the tires of his of his fiance’s car in Levittown. ย Allegedly he also told police he was attacked inside his home in summer 2014.

Davenport reported at the time that he was being stalked. An affidavit of probable cause said he made the false reports and set up a fake attack to try to get his fiancรฉ’s attention.

Six Falls officers rushed through busy late-afternoon traffic with lights and sirens on to get to the Nicklehill Lane address Davenport gave a dispatcher during the false report of the attack, police said.
