Bristol Twp.’s Director Of Building, Planning & Zoning Finds New Job

Bristol Township’s director of building, planning and zoning is leaving for a new job in Montgomery County.

Township officials announced last week Glenn Kucher will be leaving the director of building, planning and zoning position he has held for nine years.

Ambler Borough Council recently voted to hire Kucher to work in their planning and zoning department. Kucher will be going from a township of nearly 55,000 to a borough with a population of 6,400.

Township Manager Bill McCauley said the director of building, planning and zoning position would temporary be filed by the township’s human resources director, who has a masters degree in planning.

Usually, the winter period is a slow time for the department, McCauley said.
