Police were called and spoke with Rappo about the bill which they called “obviously fraudulent due to its coloring, pattern and feel”

Rappo admitted to trying to pass the fake bill and having several more fake $100s, court papers say.

Police said the other bills appeared fake and even had a president printed on the seal. It wasn’t noted in court papers what president appeared on the seal, but founding father and inventor Benjamin Franklin, who was never elected president, appears on the face on $100 bills.

Rappo was arraigned on charges of forgery and retail theft. He was released after bail was dropped to non-monetary.
