Robert Burke, 28, of Bristol, was arraigned by on-call Bristol Township District Court Judge Robert L. Wagner, Jr. at 8 p.m,. Monday. Burke was charged with the alleged robbery of Fink Florists on Monday afternoon.

Burke had 21 charges filed against him – four counts of robbery, reckless endangerment, and terroristic threats, plus related offenses filed against him
According to online court record, Burke was convicted in 2007 for armed robbery in which he was sentenced to 5 to 10 years in state prison and was released to parole in November of 2013,
Burke was sent to Bucks County Jail on 10 percent of $200,000 and is scheduled for a December 3 preliminary hearing as of post time in Bristol Borough District Court.

A suspect was taken into custody in connection with a Bristol Borough robbery Monday afternoon.

Officials said the suspect, whose name and information has not yet been released, is accused of robbing Fink’s Florist on Route 13 and then leading police on a chase. The florist shop is owned by Mayor Patrick Sabatini’s wife, Lori Sabatini.
The masked suspect is accused of making store employees get on their knees while he took several hundred dollars in cash, according to reports from staff and Sabatini. The suspect is alleged to have used a fake handgun in the robbery.
The mayor said he was driving by the shop when an employee ran out and alerted him to the robbery. Sabatini told LevittownNow.com he followed the suspect’s vehicle and flagged down a borough officer who gave chase.

Police involved in the chase said the suspect was nabbed at gunpoint on Radcliffe Street in Bristol Township. Officers from Bristol, Bristol Township and Tullytown helped capture the alleged robber.
Sabatini said there was “great police teamwork in capturing this dangerous man who must be put behind bars.”

Employees outside the store appeared visibly shaken following the robbery.
Officials said the suspect is expected to be charged later Monday afternoon.
