
A middle-aged male was arrested and charged this week with harassing and injuring two juveniles.
Middletown Township police responded to a report of assault on Monday November 11 at 9:17 p.m.

According to the alleged victim, heย was chased along with another juvenile male while they were both riding on a Yamaha motorcycle. An older male, later identified as 45-year-old Francisco Lugo, who was driving a Jeep, struck the vehicle during the chase.
The victim stated that Lugo then exited his jeep and struck the boy in the face several times. The two juveniles suffered injuries, according to police records.
According to court documents, the victim was able to show officers Lugo’s residence and properly identify him as the attacker when he exited his home.

Police then responded to St. Mary’s Medical Center where the second juvenile was being treated, according to police he suffered a broken tibia and fibula.
Lugo was charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault, as well as misdemeanor counts of simple assault, two counts of recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and two counts of harassment.

He was arraigned shortly after the incident by Judge Leonard J. Brown and sent to county jail on 10 percent of $200,000. His preliminary hearing is set for November 20.
