Two local schools received money from Verizon as part of Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit.
Verizon officials and state leaders recently presented a $15,000 check to Conwell-Egan Catholic High School in Middletown and a $10,000 check to Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic School in Tullytown.

Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic School principal Steve DiCicco said the “school is very thankful for this generous grant.”
The money was presented through Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools, which helps supports families who wish to educate their children in a Catholic school but may not have the financial ability to do so.
