Police Look To ID Suspects In PECO Thefts

Bristol Township police are looking to identify several people they suspect are connected to copper thefts.

Lt. Terry Hughes said the three suspects they are looking to identify have cut holes in the fence at the PECO facility off Edgely Road in Levittown several times in recent months.

The suspects broke locks on trailer and trucks to get spools of copper. Most recently, the suspects took a $3,000 hoist lift from the facility, Hughes said.

Anyone who can identify the individuals in the photographs is asked to call the Bristol Township Police Department’s anonymous tip line at 215-788-8289.

In 2013, a task force made up of several law enforcement agencies arrested several people connected to thefts from the same facility.
