Wage increases, as recommended by the arbitrator, would not increase between 2013 and 2014, would increase 1.5 percent during the 2014-2015 school year, and would increase 2.5 percent during both the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school years.
Health insurance contribution by the employee would vary between number of children, and spouse present. For one employee, the cost of contribution every month will go from $20 in 2014-2015, to $25 in 2015-2016, to $30 in 2016-2017. Family rates are reportedly $50 in 2014-2015, $60 in 2015-2016, and $70 in 2016-2017.
Although no official terms have been signed, the school board of the Bristol Borough School District accepted the recommendation put forth by the arbitrator.

According to School Board President Charles Groff, the support staff has been working “a little over a year” without a contract.
The next step in terms of contract talks is for the Union, BBESPA, to accept the recommendation.

“We are unaware of any memorandums of understanding. We only accepted the fact finding report as it was presented to us, which did not include a memorandum of understanding,” noted school Groff after the meeting.
“Hopefully we can move forward, and we don’t have to worry about raises or any of that,” said Jim Jones, president of the union. “Everyone can be comfortable,” he explained.
“We thank the board for their diligence and willingness to work with us,” noted Jones after the meeting.
