Officers arrested 18-year-old Erwin Baker of Falls and David Randall,18, of Lower Makefield in connection with the attack that happened on the 200 block of Chelsea Road, police said. An arrest warrant has also been filed for Daniel Horwath, 18, of Fairless Hills in connection with the attack.

Officers were first called to Chelsea Road on Sunday night for a report that several men had “jumped” a resident, police said. The three young men were reported to have been looking for the victim’s stepson.

The attack allegedly happened after the victim’s stepson woke him and his wife after Baker, Randall and Horwath arrived at the house and tried to get him to come outside.

Eventually, the stepfather went outside to confronted the three young men, according to court documents.

“Baker began to yell obscene words at [the stepson’s] mother after she told him to leave. [The victim] pushed Baker back away from the doorway. After Baker had fallen down from this push, he got back up and along with Randall and Howarth, they began to punch [the victim] in the face,” court papers filed by police say.

Despite putting up a fight, the stepfather fell after being struck several times. The three young men then began to kick the victim before leaving and making a threat, police said.

Police said they arrived and found the victim to have various injuries to the left side of his body. He was also reported to have had a black eye and was concerned about the pacemaker in his chest.

The victim spent several days at Aria Health’s Bucks County campus in Falls. He suffered a punctured lung, broken ribs and soreness around his right eye, according to court papers.

Baker and Randall are charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment. Both men were arraigned and sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $25,000 bail. Horwath is facing charges identical to those pressed against the other two young men.
