Investigation Into 3 Robberies in Bristol Continues, Officials Say

Three recent robberies in Bristol Borough have left residents scared and asking questions as police continue their investigation, officials said.

Two of last week’s robberies involved guns and the third was a strong-arm robbery, Sgt. Joe Moors confirmed to LevitttownNow.com on Thursday.

According to Moors, the robberies occurred on September 30, Oct 1 and Oct 2.

The first incident occurred on the 600 block of Pine Street. The three robbers were armed with a gun and are still at large, Moors said.

The second robbery occurred after 11 p.m. on Bath Street involved four armed men, Moors said. The men they robbed a woman of her pocket book and a made off quickly, he added.

“Three of the suspects had black guns and one had a silver gun” he said.

Officials believe the first two incidents are connected but didn’t think the third robbery was committed by the same suspects.

The strong-arm robbery took place on October 2 a little after midnight and happened in the Plum Street alley, between Race and Spruce streets, Moors said.

The suspects hit the victim in the head with an object and knocked the victim down before taking a cell phone, said Moors.

Borough Police Chief Arnold Porter said police were provided descriptions of the suspects for each of the three robberies.

For the Pine Street robbery that occurred on September 30, the three suspects are described as follows:

    • Suspect 1 – Black male , late teens to early 20’s, 6′, 160 lbs., thin build, dark complexion, thin mustache, wearing dark hoodie sweatshirts
    • Suspect 2 – Back male, late teens to early 20’s, 5’9″, 160 – 170 lbs., stocky build, dark complexion, wearing dark hoodie sweatshirt.
    • Suspect 3 – Black male, late teens to early 20’s, 5’11”, 160 – 170 lbs., thin build, dark complexion, thin mustache, wearing dark hoodie sweatshirt.

The October 1 robbery suspects are described as four black males, around six feet tall, thin to medium build, in their 20’s, wearing black ski hats, hoods and dark track pants. One subject with a beard wore a gray sweatshirt with a white Nike symbol on the front. Another subject wore a blue colored North Face jacket, according to police.

The only description given by the victim in the strong-arm robbery was the suspects were four black males, Porter said.
