Man Hurt in New Falls Road Motorcycle Crash


A man escaped serious injury in a motorcycle crash in Middletown on Wednesday.

The man, who was in his 60s, suffered a possible broken ankle, broke finger and road rash, police said.

The accident happened outside the 2 New Falls Center shopping plaza near the intersection of New Falls Road and Veterans Highway (Route 413.) The crash occurred around 1:45 p.m.

Police said the motorcyclist hit his front brakes, which caused the motorcycle to flip over and dump him onto the road.

The motorcycle reportedly did not suffer serious damage.
