The 600-or-so stores now feature cheese, pepperoni, buffalo chicken, bacon and jalapeno poper and veggie pizza.

The Focaccia bread pizza measures 7.5 inches wide and is baked at the in-store ovens at each of the Wawa location, according to the Courier-Post. The new offering costs between $5 and $7, depending on your choice.

According to PhillyMag.com:

Wawa previously tested Pizza Hut-branded pizza in about 20 stores in the mid-1990s, according to The Wawa Way. (It opened Taco Bell in about 125.) But it was short-lived. Focus groups called the idea “crazy … if we want pizza, we’ll go somewhere in specializes in pizza.”

The new Wawa pizza options come after the Delaware County-based chain has worked to improve fresh offerings in its locations.

The staff at Philly.com said the pizzas would likely make customers “sad.” They did add that “we’d still eat them after a long night of drinking. Bad decisions come easier that way.”
