According to Groff, there is no current after school program for students in grades one through three, and grades four through eight.
According to Groff, the previous grant ran out before word of the renewed grant was confirmed, leading to a dropping of the after school programs.
The board is expected to hear from the grant authorities by September 25. If the grant is approved by September 25, the after school programs will resume regularly on October 1, said Groff.

A plan B was briefly brought up by the board, including utilizing a group of volunteers should the grant not be renewed.
โTalks of a Plan B are simply to explore other options just in case the grant does not come through so we can have an alternative plan,โ said Groff in an email.
