Popular Bristol Doo-Wop Concert Taking Place Sunday

Doo-Wop music will fill the Mill Street Parking Lot near Riverfront Park in Bristol Borough on Sunday.

The ninth annual Doo-Wop in the Park event will take place Sunday starting at 4 p.m. The event was rescheduled from Saturday late in the week.

The free Bristol Borough Council-backed event will feature The Excellents, Shirley Alston Reeves, The Happenings, Street Corner 5 and Charlie Thomas’ Drifters.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chair and blankets. Remember: the annual Doo-Wop concert is normally packed and the early birds get the best seats!

Refreshments will be available for purchase at the concert. The Mill Street business district is also nearby and has several places for dinner and drinks after the concert.
