Falls Twp. Company Expected to Renovate Facility, Add Jobs


A paper and film company received a low-interest loan from the state so the company can expand in Falls Township.

taxesThe Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) recently approved nearly $11.8 million in low-interest loans for eight projects in Adams, Allegheny, Bucks, Dauphin, Erie, Luzerne and Philadelphia counties. As part of the approval, paper and film company Griff and Associates L.P., which is based in Falls Township, received a a $600,000, 15-year loan at 2.25 percent.

The funds will be distributed to through the Bucks County Economic Development Corporation.

Griff and Associates will acquire and renovate the 44,611-square-foot building that was formerly the location of Ace Worldwide Moving and Storage, according to a press release.

The PIDA says the total site investment will be more than $1.5 million and is expected to create 22 new jobs and retain 64 more positions.

Overall, the most recent PIDA projects are anticipated to create 480 new jobs and retain 780 positions, state officials said.
