A medical issue is to blame for driver of a Chrysler 300 to losing control of the vehicle and slamming into a fence on Saturday, according to police.

Despite initial information from authorities at the scene that the vehicle may have been stolen, the Chrysler 300 that burst into flames it in the area of Lewis Avenue after crashing was not, police said.

The man lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a fence, officials said. A witness told investigators he saw the man jump out of the burning vehicle and get away on foot around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Lt. Hank Ward said the man suffered a medical problem and began heading home following the crash.
Crews from the Falls Township and Morrisville fire companies handled the fully-engulfed Chrysler, a fire official told LevittownNow.com.

Police located the man not too far from the wreck.
