Advocates for the Homeless and Those in Need (AHTN) are looking for individuals or a bike repair shop to help those they serve by repairing a number of used bikes donated to the community support agency.
ATHN president, Penny Martin said bikes are a “huge help” for clients. “If you know of a bike shop that would be willing to repair free of labor costs,” ย Martin said, “AHTN will pay for the parts.”
The agency, which organizes with county human service agencies code blue efforts during extreme cold and weather, seeks to release those in the community from the circumstnces of homelessness by assisting and providing shelter and additional resources.
