Man Hit by Car to be Cited

A 50-year-old Bristol Township man will be cited for causing a crash when he was struck by a vehicle.

Police said the Croydon section resident will be cited with public intoxication and pedestrian in the travel lanes after he stumbled into traffic and was hit by a car Sunday along Veterans Highway (Route 413).

The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash that happened shortly before 9 p.m. outside of the CareerLink office, police said.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene and transported the man to the hospital.

The striking vehicle stuck around and the driver cooperated with police.
