It’s a lot of work to maintain the 235-arce Silver Lake Nature Center in Bristol Township. That’s why the center is asking for volunteers to help keep up the grounds this Saturday.

From 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., volunteers are welcomed to the nature center to help spruce up. Those who work four hours will be given lunch, according to staff.

The event is rain or shine. Participants are asked to bring water bottles and wear clothes they don’t mind getting wet and dirty.

Anyone interested in helping is asked to call 215-785-1177.
