NWS Issues Severe Thunderstorm Watch

July27A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the a number of counties in the commonwealth, including the Lower Bucks area, by the National Weather Service.

The watch issued beginning at 6:50 p.m. extends to 2 a.m. Monday morning.

A line of severe storms moving quickly through the region with winds peaking at 60 mph and torrential rain forecasters say.

Flash flooding is possible, forecasters say, with large hail expected which can produce damage to property and vehicles.

NWS is reccomendig as the storm passses through the area to remain indoors due to the force of winds and harm the large hail can potentially bring.
