On Thursday, Levittown’s newest kid-friendly attraction cut its ribbon early, in the name of raising money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Sky Zone, located at 45 Runway Rd. held a friends and family style ribbon cutting event in an effort to draw attention and raise donations to help fight for children with cancer.
The indoor trampoline park was a hit among the area’s kids who were seen racing excitedly up the stairs leading to a sea of trampolines after the official announcement and ribbon cutting ceremony.

The event, which acted as the beginning of a ‘soft opening’ for the businesses newest venue, specifically honored Felicia, a local 10-year-old who had recently become cancer free.
Her mother spoke of every parent’s worst nightmare, finding out her daughter’s body was full of cancerous tumors. “You never know what day will be your last,” she said. “We just heard there were no signs of disease, which means we are finally cancer free.”
Sky Zone will host its grand opening event in early August.
