A 32-year-old Warminster man was injured in a road rage incident Friday morning, Newtown Township police said.

Laurence Fuller, 43, of Voorhees, N.J., was arrested by Lower Makefield and Newtown officers for allegedly attacking the man while waiting in traffic on the Newtown Bypass. The alleged attack happened outside the Summit Square Shopping Center, which is in Middletown Township.

Newtown police said in a press release that Fuller and the victim were stopped at the red light in front of the shopping center around 8:20 a.m. Fuller was in front of the Warminster man, police said.
Fuller allegedly got out of his vehicle, into the back of the Warminster man’s truck and began yelling and calling the man names, police said.
The Warminster man reportedly got out of his truck as Fuller began walking back to his vehicle. From there, according to police, Fuller began “wildly” punching the man with a closed fist in the face and the head.

According to authorities, both men got back in their vehicle and began driving east on the Newtown Bypass.
The Warminster man called 9-1-1 and updated police of the 43-year-old’s location.

The victim called authorities and updated the dispatcher about Fuller’s location.
Police stopped both vehicle on the southbound I-95 ramp in Lower Makefield, according to the release from Newtown authorities.
An ambulance transported the Warminster man to the hospital for treatment. He has since been released, police said.

Fuller was arraigned Friday afternoon on charges of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and two counts of simple assault. He was sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $25,000 bail.
