According to the GBG, the two companies will create 111 jobs over the course of the next three years. The facility was purchased by Genesis Industrial LLC.
WorldWide Life Sciences is a distributor of goods for research, academic and biotechnology laboratories. Bioplast makes plastic components used primarily for medical research, clinical diagnostics and biotech environments, products that were previously purchased from companies in China.
Lt. Gov. Jim Cawley, a Bristol Township native, released a statement on the grand opening of the businesses.

“Governor Corbett and I are proud of this administration’s efforts to build a stronger life sciences industry through the growth of in-state businesses and bringing new companies to Pennsylvania,” Cawley said in a written statement. “The life sciences industry will continue to be a keystone to Pennsylvania’s economy, and most certainly to our future, not only from an economic perspective, but also from a health perspective.”
The administration of Gov. Tom Corbett was honored by the Biotechnology Industry Organization in 2013 with its BIO Governor of the Year Award. The governor’s administration, according to his office, has worked to bring biotechnology firms to the state in an effort to create jobs.
