A man escaped injury after his vehicle flipped on northbound Route 1 in Falls Township Friday.
The 22-year-old lifeguard from Upper Southampton was lost and looking for the exit to get to his job when he lost control of his 1996 BMW shortly before noon, police said. Authorities further detailed that the man struck the median, went into a guard rail and flipped near the sound barrier.

The crash, which happened near the Tyburn Road entryway, caused traffic delays.
The man reported no serious injuries and was taken to St. Mary Medical Center for examination, police said.
No drugs or alcohol are suspected. Police told LevittownNow.com that inattentive driving and speed are currently being eyed as possible causes.
