According to police, officers were dispatched to the Tullytown Walmart parking lot on the evening of March 21 for a man on the ground suffering head trauma and having trouble breathing.
A police investigation uncovered that Linda Abourahab and her estranged husband went to the Walmart together to cash an income tax check with both their names on it, according to court papers.
Officer Justin Tryon wrote in court papers that store surveillance footage shows the estranged couple cashing the check in the customer service area. Around the same time, Fonollosa entered a nearby bathroom and then followed the Abourahabs out of the store, the officer noted.

Linda Abourahab informed her estranged husband outside the store that she would give him his half of the money at her car in the parking lot, police said.
However that did not happened, court papers say.

Fonollosa walked up and entered Linda Abourahab’s car and the two drove off, police said. They added that Abourahab’s estranged husband jumped on the trunk of the car and tried to stop it.
At that point, according to court papers, Abourahab stopped the car and Fonollosa got out, slammed the man from the car onto the ground and punched him numerous times.
Police said in court papers that the injured man began to suffer heart problems due to the head trauma.
