A woman was robbed Sunday night in Bristol Township.

According to police, the 27-year-old woman was walking along the 6900 block of Emilie Road around 6:30 p.m. when a man came up to her and wanted something. The woman told the man she did not have any money and he began to go through her purse.

A cell phone and medication were stolen from the woman’s purse, police said.
A press release from police does not mention a weapon or threat being used in the robbery.
Lt. Terry Hughes told LevittownNow.com the woman was uninjured and police continue to search for the suspect.

Authorities describe the suspect as a black male wearing a green shirt and gray shorts.
