According to court papers, Rivera was arguing with his two sons this past November and picked up a claw hammer during the disagreement on the 100 block of Buckley Street.

Rivera’s one son tried to break up the argument, grabbed the claw hammer from his father’s hand and tossed it aside. In turn, it then struck the child in the eye, police said.

The 11-month-old child was taken to Lower Bucks Hospital, according to multiple sources, and then transferred to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
