Two people remained hospitalized Tuesday afternoon following a serious crash in Bristol Township.

A 20-year-old Levittown woman and a 4-year-old child remained at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Tuesday afternoon and were being treated their injuries. The two, who were in a Jeep Liberty, were among three people hurt in the two-vehicle crash at the at the intersection of Green Lane and Mill Creek Road, according to police.

A 27-year-old Levittown man was driving the other vehicle, a Ford F250, and was taken to Aria Hospital, police said. They added the man was released from the hospital.
Fire crews were needed to free the 4-year-old from the back of the Jeep, police said.
The 9 a.m. crash remains under investigation, police told LevittownNow.com.

The intersection was closed until shortly after 12:30 p.m.
Crews from Bristol Township Fire Police, Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s Office, Edgely Fire Company, Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad and Levittown Fire Company No. 2 responded along with police.
