Bristol Township police are searching for the woman who robbed the Walgreens at the corner of New Falls and Bristol-Oxford Valley roads Wednesday afternoon.

Lt. Terry Hughes said the female robber made off with Oxycodone pills around 3:55 p.m.

Police said the woman walked into the store, went to the pharmacy department, passed a demand note and implied she had a weapon. The woman made off from the store on foot.
Police searched the area and could not locate the suspect, Hughes said. He added that detectives will be checking local security camera footage to see where the suspect fled to.
The suspect was described by police as a young white female of thin build and of short stature. She was reported to have worn a purple sweatshirt.

Police said there are similarities between Wednesday’s robbery and a similar one at the Rite Aid near Five Points earlier this year.
