
Ever secretly want to be a superhero? ย Come on now, be honest.
On Saturday, June 21, adults will get to live out their secret childhood wishes as they’ll be able to take part in the ย Philadelphiaย Super Runย ย which encourages participants to dress up as their favorite super hero.

According to the Super Run website, the eventย ย is part of a national series of events that partners with non-profit organizations putting on superhero themed events in an effort to raise funds and awareness for a given ย non-profits initiative.
The Super Run in Philadelphia begins at the Navy Yardย ย on S. Broad St. and Intrepid Avenue beginning with an 8:30 a.m. check in time next Saturday.
An added bonus of the event, according to organizers, is all entrants will receive super hero swag, which includes superhero capes in eight colors for your “”up, up and away” super announcement.

“It’s the perfect event for the whole family. Enjoy a day of fun, fitness and exercise as you pose as a superhero. Take advantage of this great opportunity!,” said Hope Marie, a Levittown resident, who is promoting the family friendly fun event.

According to The Super Run Facebook page, free passes are being given away to potential participants byย just have to posting ย a photo of your favorite superhero and useย โช#โTheSuperRunโฌย โช#โPhillyโฌย and tag the page.ย

So all you adults who secretly want to dress up as a heroic figure can do while there kids get to be super with them!
Cost to register ย is $10 to be super for the 1k run or $30 to be heroic for the full 5K run.
