During โ€œWaves of Honor,โ€ active military personnel waited at the entrance of the park in wait of park guests in order to hand out 2,000 flags.

“It’s just our way to salute our military and their families.โ€ Jeff Davis, vice president of park operations, explained.

Specialist Cunningham was one of the personnel handing out flags. He said, โ€œ[I] definitely enjoy being out here with the community.โ€

โ€œI’ve done this before and I really enjoy it; greeting the kids, seeing their smiles. Its a good way of giving back for all the support we receive,โ€ Staff Sergeant Carroll, another present serviceman, explained.
