NWS Issues Flood Watch for Second Straight Day

The National Weather Service (NWS) office in Mount Holly, New Jersey issued a second  Flash Flood Watch in as many days for the region Friday afternoon.

The watch expires at 2 a.m. Saturday  and covers part of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Forecasters expect  variable rain fall to pour on the Lower Bucks area ranging from .5  to 2.5 inches of total precipitation when the down pour ends.

According to NWS,  the flood Alert for the Lower Bucks area is for this afternoon and evening.

Residual flooding is expected, with rain fall accumulating at an inch about every 45 minutes or so.
