Falls Township police say the two men in a four-door car that burst into flames after hitting a guard rail on Route 1 were burned.
The driver was severely burned and the passenger in the vehicle suffered less serious burns, police said. Both were taken to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown and their condition is unknown as of press time.

A police investigation found the two that were burned were attempting to avoid a three-vehicle accident. The driver ended up losing control and slamming the guard rail around 1:20 p.m., according to a police press release.
Both the driver and passenger do not speak English and police were not able to obtain any other information from them as of Tuesday night.
