Five-year-old Franky Talley of Levittown might not make it until Halloween, so staff and residents at Sunrise Senior Living in Lower Makefield celebrated “Halloween in May” on Friday.
The residents and staff pulled together and decorated the facility and handed out candy to the five-year-old boy, who, like most kids, loves Halloween.

“We got bad news last week and when he heard, all he could say was that he wanted to go trick or treating,” said Fusco. “I said I’d see what could be done. The next thing you know here we are trick or treating,” Franky’s mother, Tiffany Fusco told BucksLocalNews.com.
Franky arrived to the special trick-or-treating walk through dressed as the Hulk.
Sunrise Senior Living pulled the “Halloween in May” event after staff heard of Franky’s wish to celebrate Halloween.

Franky has Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), which there is no known cure for the brain stem cancer that affects children. According to WebMD, chemotherapy is the most effective form of treatment for DIPG, however, in 90 percent of the cases the treatment extends the patients life by only 18 months.
