Veterans ID Card Program in Croydon on Thursday


The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds’ Veterans ID Discount Card program will be hitting the road and coming to Bristol Township on Thursday.

Members of the staff will be giving veterans the opportunity to receive a free ID card that offers discounts on Bucks County businesses this Thursday, May 8 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Croydon VFW Post at 901 Bellevue Avenue

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.

To date, over 1,090 Bucks County businesses have agreed to offer substantial veterans discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to those holding the Bucks County Veterans ID card, and more are signing up to participate each day. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part. A list of participating businesses is available on the official county website as well.
