We face many economic and social challenges in our community and many of these exceptional young men come from very unstable situations.ย  It is a testament to the players and coaches that they have been able to bring some stability and grow towards not only championship players and coaches, but as championship people and positive lights shining in our community.

As I stated, many of the members of this team do not come from the best financial situations.ย  They had to scrape and claw to raise $15,000 on their own in order to get themselves to Florida to play in the UYFL playoffs.ย  All of this while going to school and practicing so that they could become champions on the field once they got there.ย  To their credit, these Wardogs persevered and made it happen.

Courage. Strength. Integrity. Teamwork. This is The Wardog motto.ย  It is the only way that champions are made.ย  It is something that we all strive for in our daily lives.ย  The Wardogs have showed us all the way. Thank you.
