Bristol Township police reported the theft of two handguns Thursday.

One handgun was stolen during a burglary in the 3000 block of Steele Avenue in Bristol between 1:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Entry to the home was made through a rear door. Two laptops and the gun were reported stolen, police said. The value of the theft was $1,100.

The next incident was reported Thursday night and took place in the 100 block of Crimson King Lane in Levittown. A 2001 Jeep was entered and the gun, worth $510, was stolen, police said. The theft is suspected of happening between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Investigators do not believe the two thefts are connected, Acting Chief Lt. John Godzeiba.
