Details on a SWAT team raid of a Levittown home remain sketchy Thursday morning.

A Falls Township police official confirmed Wednesday night that police and a SWAT team raided a home on Buttonwood Lane in the Levittown section.

The police official said he could not comment further as the activity  was connected to an investigation conducted by Bensalem police.

A Bensalem police spokesperson did not have comment on the incident and court records from overnight do not show any charges filed in local courts in connection with the raid.

There was no danger to the public, police said.

Neighbors reported the heavily police activity around 7:30 p.m. and saw police take a man into custody. A child was also reported to be taken from the home.
