A 25-year-old man allegedly attacked his father Monday night with a wooden plank.
Russel Simmons, who is homeless, was arraigned onย 10 percent of $3 million bail by on-call District Judge Leonard J. Brownย on charges of ย aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and harassment.

Simmons, police said, forced his way in a condemned residence on the 300 block of Otter Street just before 5 p.m. He reportedly damaged the back door then threatening his father.
According to a probable cause affidavit.ย Simmons allegedly picked up a 2-by-4 piece of wood and struck his father with it. The father was struck on the neck and shoulder with the plank, police said.
Simmons resisted arrest by locking his arms together in front of his body and then again at the rear of the police vehicle, police said. Officers had to use a stun gun on the 25-year-old, according to court papers.

Simmons was sent to Bucks County Prison and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 30 in Bristol Borough District Court.
