Authorities were concerned because the boy is 13-years-old and has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old. Police also said he does not speak.
The search went on for about two hours before the Middletown police discovered the boy safe along Ford Road, Bensalem Sgt. Andrew Aninsman told LevittownNow.com.
A Philadelphia police helicopter assisted officers and a K-9 unit on the ground.
