Local Cheerleaders Score Big

The Penndel Wildcats cheerleaders scored big recently.

The varsity team came in second place at the Grand National Championship By the Sea in Virginia Beach, Va. last month and then they won first at the Battle at the Capital National competition in National Harbor, Maryland.

The JV Junior Cats and Tiny Cats also placed first in their divisions at the Grand National Championship.

“This is a great organization to be a part of! These girls rock the mat each and EVERY time!” parent Kristy Cloud said.

Community members can support the Penndel Wildcats Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Rita’s Water Ice in Penndel.
