Jog for Joints Draws 500 People

St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown held their Jog fo Joints professionally timed 5K run and one-mile orthopedic patient reunion walk this past weekend at Core Creek Park. More than 500 walkers and runners attended the event, which included informative speakers, awards and brunch program, DJ and entertainment, and door prizes, as well as autographs and photographs with Philadelphia Eagles legends. Super Bowl Champion punter Sean Landeta and former Eagles stand-out linebacker Garry Cobb were honorary team captains. Guests were assigned teams and competed in categories such as team spirit and highest number of medals earned. Additional Philadelphia sports legends who attended the event included Hollis Thomas, former Eagles defensive tackle; Kyle Eckel, former Eagles fullback; and Barrett Brooks, former Eagles offensive tackle.
