Levittown Library Book Sale In Final Days

The Friends of the Levittown Library Book Sale is winding down.

The fundraising effort for the library, located at the county center in Bristol Township, continues with the addition of a flea market Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The book sale ends Monday with a 50 percent off sale from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friends of the Library President Nancy Masucis said the Saturday flea market and book sale should be a great time for the community.

The sale features CDs, DVDs, records, books on tape in addition to over 10,000 books. The flea market will feature several different vendors.

Masucis said she hopes the library raises at least $9,000 on Saturday. The money goes towards improvements to the building, which serves roughly 35,000 people annually.

“We set up before we usually do this year and we were ready a day early,” Masucis said.

The library holds two book sales a year and another will come in the fall.
