For those of you breaking out the spring wear and gear – slow down! Forecasters are predicting snow to fall on the Lower Bucks area Tuesday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting 2-4 inches of snow beginning to fall after 3 p.m. Tuesday, with the possibility of more being sprinkled on the Levittown area Wednesday.

Temperatures Tuesday are expected to fall  below freezing with slick spots developing on untreated road and walkways, forecasters are saying.

A low pressure system  developing  of the Southeastern coast Monday night, NWS said, will take  a Northeastern track into Wednesday bringing the unwelcomed sight of white stuff falling from the sky.
