Last weekend the Greenbelt Overhaul Alliance of Levittown (G..O.A.L.) held a cleanup of areas surrounding Black Ditch Creek.
Dozens gathered for the final leg of the cleanup at the creek which has as its headwaters street drainage from Holly and Crabtree Drives just off of the Levittown Parkway, Ed Armstrong said

This cleanup was a classic example at getting a community directly involved with their own back yard, something frequently difficult to get off the ground until an experienced, well organized all-volunteer group like G.O.A.L. comes knocking on their collective door. Given the small size of Bloomsdale and Fleetwing it was nice to see over a dozen neighbors working with us thanks to the efforts of community activist/leader Constance Moore, said Armstrong
Black Ditch Creek has been the subject of G.O.A.L.’s efforts on 16 occasions since its inception in 2009.
